Having a custom-made place in which they can work and exploit their creativity is something that all children need. SITZ is a piece of furniture created for all those children who need a desk but do not have much space in their rooms to have it.
At first glance, this is an armchair but it has a mechanism that allows it to be opened and turned into a desk for the child to use.

SITZ is a project inspired by the accordion of regional Mexican music, we can see this inspiration reflected in how the furniture opens and closes.

This is an early prototype made from 15mm okoume veneered MDF, with spray-painted blue accents and cushions made of foam covered in a blue faux-leather textile.

SITZ is a design proposal focused on a sector that has not fully exploded and is furniture made specifically for children that fulfills a function and solves a big problem which is the lack of space. Our furniture is created for children from 4 to 5 years old, it is ergonomically adapted to these users considering the anthropometric measurements in each element.
